d’Oz main area of service is in training and development. However, as part of a holistic approach in helping employees maintain a healthy social and emotional wellbeing, we also provide counseling services.
This is a services contracted for offering counseling to employees as part of the organizations’ employee welfare programs. Such contract may include counseling for employees who encounter crisis or traumatic experiences, individuals whom are facing personal challenges such as emotional, psychological and work related stress.
Our counselors or therapists see individual clients with a variety of issues, ranging from depression, anxiety, work conflict, personal development, parenting issues, to identify struggles and more. They seek to enable client to cope with their situation and facilitate their resolution of issues.
We adopt a one-on-one counseling as the primary approach to therapy whereby the client is empower to take ownership of his challenges, however, when possible and deemed helpful, co-workers and family members may be invited to the counseling sessions. The preferred stance is to use the approach that best fits clients and their situation.
All potential clients will be required to sign a consent form where confidentiality is strictly adhered in accordance to the Singapore’s counseling code of ethics. To ensure privacy and confidentiality, the counseling sessions can be conducted at d’Oz head office.
Companies may also engage us to train their staff in basic counseling skills for incorporation into their job functions as HR Practitioners, Supervisors, Managers or to serve as para-counsellors. Such training is usually offered as brief workshop sessions.
A minimum of S$100 deposit fee is required to book an appointment for your preferred time.
